Bullying is such an important cause to me, it hits me in the heart just hearing the word. Bullying causes innocent kids to take their lives away. One of my friends was bullied and commited suicide not to long ago. It should be adressed through social critisism because the word needs to get out! People who do bully need to realixe what they are doing and understand how wrong it is. Kids are taking their lives over rude people. By recgonizing the problem maybe we can fix that problem.

StopBullying.

It was just normal day at school as young jimmy was walking out to go home. Standing on the front steps was Kyle, Alex, and, Michael. The bullies as everyone referred to them! They stopped him dead in his tracks and just started teasing him! Kyle started calling him mean names and making fun of him. As the next few weeks went on so did the bullying. It started getting worse as the weeks progressed. The boys would message Jimmy on twitter saying horrid things to him. Some days they followed him home just making snide comments behind him as he walked.  Jimmy hated his life! He was always sad and always feet worthless! Jimmy wanted to take the easy way out! He felt like he wasn’t worth living, or breathing the air he breathed. The next day after school the bullies started up again! This time they were yelling at Jimmy. Michael started to push him and threw jimmy on the ground.  One of the football players named Tyler saw them and ran up to them. Tyler picked up Jimmy and made the boys back off. Tyler was so mad because his sister had committed suicide due to bullying. Seeing Jimmy being bullied really hit him hard.  He looked at all the boys and was just ashamed. He told them bullying was wrong and a terrible thing be doing. Tyler made the point that bullying can lead to the victim self harming or even death. The bullies stood quiet for a few seconds and then realized what they had been doing. They saw the pain in Jimmy's eyes and immediately felt like crap. They apologized repeatedly and couldn’t stop. Tyler then looked at the boys and said "Take stand boys. Bullying is a big deal and its nothing to joke around about! Please stand with me and STOP BULLYING!"


To me compelling means pointing out facts that make people realize what the issue is and making them understand the bad in it.

Mask Story

Once upon a time there was a family. This family consisted of 6 people. There was a mom, a dad, 3 brothers, and one daughter. Also there was a evil lady trying to get with the dad. Each family member had an outrageous name. The mom's name was Kimbercomble, the dads name was Dennywenny, the three boys names were Austeezy, Chrisweezy, and Alheezy. The daughters name wasn’t something outrageous like the rest of the family. Her name was Taylor. The evil ladies name was Cadicimo. This family was way far from being anywhere to normal. The biggest problem in the family was Candicimo was trying to get with Dennywenny and Dennywenny was falling for her. Candicimo would flirt up a storm and Dennywenny started liking her. Don’t worry though Dennywenny and Kimbercomble weren’t married so he was being unfaithful. The more and more Dennywenny and Candicimo started talking, the more Dennywenny was falling for her. Taylor could see what was happening and didn’t like it one bit. Months went by and Dennywenny started falling head over sneakers in love with Candicomo. Everyone hated what was going on. Alheezy, Austeezy, and Chrisweezy want to help Taylor out. They devised a plan to get rid of Cadicimo. Taylor knew it wouldn’t work but she wanted to try anyways. Anytime she was around Candicimo she put on her “mask”. Taylor always acted happy and joyas around Candicimo but in reality was sad on the inside. Candicimo thought Taylor was actually happy. Taylor knew the biggest event of her life was coming up but she just kept her mask on. For the following weeks Taylor never took her mask off.  About a month had passed and one day Dennywenny said he had an announcement to make.  Austeezy, Taylor, Dennywenny, and Candicimo sat down for dinner that night. As the evening progressed Dennywenny stood up and got ready to announce the big surprise. He stayed quiet for the suspense and then Bam! Like a lightning bolt to Taylor and Austeezy’s hearts, Dennywenny announced him and Candicimo were getting married in one week. All the sadness just continued to build up in Taylor but she got up and congratulated the both of them. Of course Taylor was sad but she just kept her mask on and acted happy for both of them. In her head Taylor knew it was time to initiate the plan. When Taylor and Austeezy got home they packed everything the needed for the following night when the plan would be executed. The following morning everyone went about their normal lives but as night rolled in the plan was a go. They got all their stuff and off they went. As Taylor and the boys showed up at Candicimos house they were ready to execute. They got into the house but right when they were shutting the door the lights flicked on and Candicimo came running down the stairs. She freaked out but then realized who was in her house. She then calmed down. Candicimo walked up to them and asked what they were doing there. At that moment Taylor cancelled the plan. She looked into Candi’s eyes and knew the mask had to come off. She sat down on the couch and just broke down. Taylor and Candicimo talked all that night about everything learned that they actually liked each other. Taylor then accepted the marriage and didn’t have to wear the mask ever again. She was truly happy now.

THE END

Mask Project.

1. The objective of this project was to show how we mask our emotions in important social settings.
2. My artwork was succesful because it showed how I mask my sadness with "happiness".  Every aspect of my project came together to creae a great final project.
3. My project showed unity between the two faces. Even though they were both totally diffrent emotions but came together on the mask to show what my emotions were. The colors combined to show the emotions.
4. My project showed form by having a shape.
5. My texture application was sorta succesful because on side did show the happiness but on the sad side i had a hard time deciding what texture represented sad so it didnt really work.
6. No i was not succesful in creating 24 facets. I couldnt find a place to put them all so i couldnt make 24 facets.
7. I think the happy side of my mask came out the best because just by looking at it i could feel the happiness i was trying to portray.
8. The happy side of my mask represents me in a social setting around friends and the guy i like. The social setting i would think i was like this is during cheer and during passing periods!Im happy during these social settings because i get to see my friends and they make me happy.
The sad side of the mask represents when im at home and im getting yelled at for no reason by my moms husband. Im sad in this setting because it makes me really sad to get yelled at.
9. My mask does convey the expressions I was going for. Happy and Sad.
